Penta has an ongoing involvement in several projects in low and middle income countries in partnership with Casa Accoglienza alla vita Padre Angelo – ACAVPA (Trento, Italy) and various associations and hospitals in Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Activities include supply of equipment and drugs, medical trainings, structural interventions, psycho-social activities and services principally benefitting HIV-infected women, children and teenagers. These projects aim to reduce morbidity and mortality, improving healthcare quality and promoting social support, social inclusion and empowerment.
