PentaTr@ining 2020 online training course kicks off!

Tags: | November 2nd, 2020

Our completely revamped online training course PentaTr@ining 2020: ‘HIV & other Congenital Infections’ kicks off today!

The innovative online programme comprises 6 interactive and in-depth training modules, a wide variety of real-life clinical cases for discussion, interactive webinars and dedicated tutoring from our expert international teaching faculty. To consolidate the online training, the course will conclude in February 2021 with a ‘virtual’ face to face training day of fun group discussions, presentations and quizzes!

The key training objective of the course is to provide specialist HIV and congenital infection knowledge to frontline doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals working in the fieldWhilst building on the success and true collegiate spirit of the previous ‘Tr@infroPedHIV’ course, the upgraded programme is centred around updates in a variety of different congenital infections, including sexually transmitted infections, hepatitis B and C. The course aims to give our participants practical, case-based information on patient treatments which can be applied in their day to day clinical work. Another important strategic aim of the course is to link centres for clinical care and research, helping to build national and international networks for future collaboration and clinical support.

To all our course participants this year, we hope you find your PentaTr@ining ‘journey’ together rich, rewarding and fun!
